Raekwon might be known as the "Chef," but this guy Mac Lethal is gunning for his spot. A respected YouTube freestyler, Mac Lethal asked his thousands of fans what they wanted to hear him rap about. "Pancakes" they said, and he delivered with his amazing / hilarious remix titled "Cook With Me Now." You can blame it on the fact that I haven't been exclusively listening to rap now, but I feel like these YouTube dudes are better than 95% of the sh*theads I hear on the radio. At least this guy knows who motherf*cking Chuck Testa is. Check out the fastest fat dude you've ever seen after the jump!
So it's been a "minute" since Fat Joe was in the news again but the dude has lost some weight. Granted, when your name is Fat Joe and you actually live up the namesake, the term "some weight" is relative. Joe's still a big dude, but he recently gave the "skinny" on VladTV about the N-Bomb. When asked about it's usage, Fat Joe responded that anyone [read: white kids] should be able to use the word. I know that makes a lot of suburbia happy, but I would be pretty careful about trying this one out in public. Does Fat Joe really feel this way or is he just trying to get publicity? Check the interview for his reasoning after the jump and leave your feelings in the comment section.
So, I'm on the subway last Friday, tired as sh*t from another devastating work week, and all I want to do is shut my eyes and bathe in silence when these two excitable motherf*ckers hop on last second. I don't pay much attention and I try to shut them out. Then the announcement comes, "Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen-" F*ck. More people looking for a handout. Then, they launch into their act. The rapper goes OFF. I've heard Busta. I've heard Twista. But this dude shredded the English language. We arrive at the destination and ask if they have a site. "I saw you guys dot com," the rapper says. Read more about the world's fastest rapper after the jump.
Born and raised in the slums of Ho Chi Minh City, Benny Troung grew up as an oprhan selling gum and W.W.J.D. bracelets to tourists. He taught himself how to read and write before falling in love with the rap game after listening to Ja Rule's Between Me and You. The same day, he lost his virginity to a stripper who was too drunk to notice that he was an adolescent. The self proclaimed "Best Asian Rapper" and "Best Asian Lover" sat down with COED one-on-one for his first ever interview. Check it out along with his tracks "Playboy Anthem", "Got Damn" and "Dead Animals" after the jump.
Last week, we hit you off with the Top 5 Epic Rap Battles of History. Today, Nice Peter released a brand-new ERB to celebrate the release of the new Harry Potter flick. These two wizards duel it out using whatever dirt and dark magic they have on the other.
What do Adolf Hitler, Abe Lincoln, and the Easter Bunny all have in common? They straight up kill while rocking on the mic in their rap battles. The people behind Epic Rap Battles of History take some of the most famous, historic figures and, well, have them rap battle. The journey from real-life street thug - with six years in the slammer - to reel-life rap gangsta - on HBO's Entourage - was a learning experience, not a glamorous fairy tale for the artist known as Saigon. His talent for hip-hop later garnered attention from Atlantic Records, plus helped land him a recurring role on the hit HBO series. But a disinterest in making pop records and a controversial physical altercation with another well known rapper would eventually grind the release of his touted debut full length record to a complete halt. No matter how hard you try, there's one thing in the world that you'll never come back from if you're an up-and-coming rapper, it's blowing chunks on stage. Case in point: this guy at an amateur rap off. Any dreams he had of drinking Cristal out of a Crunk Cup while rolling in a customized Rolls Royce with stupid hot women have washed away in a surge of orangey red vomit. Not being able to hold down your Four Loko? NOT gangsta. See him toss his career out the window and his stomach after the jump!
As "Black and Yellow" continues to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 charts as the #1 song in the country, rap sensation and weed extraordinaire Wiz Khalifa has announced the "Green Carpet Tour" - a concert series that will kick off just days after the March 29th release of his album "Rolling Papers" and will stop at 17 colleges. See the full breakdown after the jump!

We all have our favorite songs to listen to while we put ourselves under the influence while we're out on the town. What is better than that, is when those songs are actually about getting messed up. It's the ever-impressive double whammy. These are the top fifteen songs from that category.
Hip Hop, it's some of the best music on Earth. Not to be confused with rap, which dominates the airwaves and is rife with bad lyrics, dance instructions and outrageously lavish music videos (where most high priced items are rented and the money's fake). Here are seven albums that truly define how Hip Hop should sound. If you HAVE heard these albums, spread the love. Run and tell that!

Rappers often tell first-person stories based on what they, or those around them, have experienced. Typically the case, and as any gangsta rap connoisseur would know, the tales involve violence, drugs, respect and once in a while... redemption.
It's hard to remember the days when rap used to actually be hardcore. Not only have the lyrics gotten increasingly stupid, but once-dangerous trigger-happy rappers are now just waiting to be beat up by some former fan who spends too much lifting weights at the gym. Undecided on whether rap has lost all credibily? Just watch this insanely lame video of the whitest kids ever trying to rap.
Rappers all say or do pretty stupid things at times. Take a look at the picture above and that's idiocy in a nutshell. Millions of dollars are going out to these performers who come up with the gems we are about to discuss. While at first you may think to yourself, "wow I love this song." You soon start to ask yourself "but what the heck is he talking about?" We have listened to rap music for 30 years now and have narrowed the worst lyrics down to 14 biggest offenders.
Everyone with a webcam or a knack for having sex with married celebrities can get their fifteen minutes of fame. But only the truly talented can extend those 15 minutes into an interview on 20/20, a Playboy contract, and a television series. We've put together a handy guide on turning your 15 minutes of fame into a a lifelong career of book signings, national news mugshot cameos, and late-career sex tape success.
We've run down a list of must-have swag for a stoner's most revered date -- 420. And we've discussed some odd bits of pot culture news leading up to the big day. The time has come, so COED is out to get some insight from a member of the one of the most successful flag-waving cannabis progressive rap groups in history.
You know, I can't remember the last time I hear a rap song I gave a crap about. I'm sure it's out there, but after Kaye turned himself into an egomanical douchebag, I stopped listening to the radio, altogether. So when I came across this video of a kid tapping a bangin' beat with his pencils while spitting good rhymes,it was a breath of fresh air.
If you ever find yourself at a reggaeton rap concert where Pitbull is performing, I think it's probably a good idea not to climb on stage and get in that dude's face. Because when you do, you get knocked the f**k out.

In America, you're often told from a young age that you can be anything you want to be. What they don't tell you is that sometimes you might suck at what you want to be. And in that case, it's probably best to not make a video documenting exactly that.
On top of looking like a long-term homeless person and mumbling like he forgot to take the sheet of acid out of his pocket, Joaquin Phoenix's Letterman interview goes so badly it's hard to watch. In fact, it's almost hard to believe. Either this guy's completely lost it, or he's pulling the biggest stunt since Kaufman's Tony Clifton.
When we heard last week that P. Diddy would be producing a rap album for Joaquin Phoenix, we thought it was just some bad joke....
