University of Mississippi, Junior

I love my college because…

of its traditions and the environment of the school. I love the southern culture of the school. Also, it is consistently voted one of the best tailgating and football game environment schools in the nation. Spend one Saturday at the Grove and you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s a beautiful campus with so many different kinds of people, and the school itself has so much to offer. I couldn’t imagine a better school for me. Hotty Toddy!!

I really hate when…

people constantly talk over others or interrupt conversations or stories being told.

I major in…

Elementary Education. I am in love with my major! I have a huge passion for children and working with them so being a teacher is perfect for me. I’ve always wanted to be one ever since I was little, and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else!

My hometown is awesome because…

I am a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan, and we obviously have some of the best barbecue in the country! I love exploring and finding new places in the city I’ve never been before even though I’ve lived there my entire life. Memphis is a city that has a lot to offer; I love living there!

At school, you can find me…

as a member of Kappa Delta sorority!

The coolest class I’ve taken so far is…

an American government class, which is weird because it has nothing to do with my major. I just find it really interesting, and I loved my teacher because she made it really fun and exciting to learn.

My ideal first date would be…

something fun like an amusement park or ice skating. Somethings more exciting than just your typical dinner and a movie.

My favorite late night study snack is definitely…

something salty like chips or pretzels!

If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…

spend it with the people I love!

If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…

how violent things have been all over the world lately. It’s extremely scary to think that something bad could happen to someone you love or somewhere around your home could be affected. My heart really goes out to the people who have been affected by all the violence lately.

If I could give my high school self one piece of advice, I would say…

to not sweat the small stuff. High school drama definitely does not matter now so don’t get too caught up in what other people are doing or thinking and just do you! Also, to quit crying at my senior night because college is a billion times better than high school!

I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…

it’s such a cool opportunity to potentially represent my school because I love Ole Miss so much. Being Miss COED comes with so many amazing opportunities that I would love to be a part of! I think being in the public eye would be something I could really shine at. I would love to be able to represent the brand and my school!!
