I love my college because…
of the opportunities placed in front of me including classes to take, study abroad choices, clubs to join, and the countless career services that they offer to help students get on their feet. But I also chose UK for their rich history as the best school in Kentucky and in the nation. For their school spirit and sports team spirit. For their community. For the numerous choices I have to find the perfect major. I chose UK because there I’m free to become the person I’ve always been meant to be while being close enough to home I can return when I need help getting through a rough patch, or when they need me. Because UK doesn’t just involve their students, but the families and their alumni. Because UK is a Kentucky Tradition.
I really hate when…
people are lazy and when people choose to be in a bad mindset. Those who don’t work for what they want because they say “I don’t THINK I can.” Thoughts become reality if you repeat them enough to yourself. Always keep a positive mindset and you’ll go further than you can imagine.
I major in…
Accounting and Finance, with a minor in International Business. I want to be able to come back to La Grange and work for a local company while I obtain my Master’s in law to become an insurance/finance lawyer like my father’s current employer. With the international business part, I hope to be able to travel and experience new cultures while doing something I love. Two birds, one stone.
My hometown is awesome because…
it is where my heart is. It’s my high school memories and my mistakes. But it’s also where my family was born and raised for over 60 years. We were here before even the first high school was built! I love the small town feel, but being able to go to a big city like Louisville when I want. I love the quiet and I love the country nights. Being able to look up at the stars at night during a bonfire in mid-August. I love how I know everyone here, and everyone knows me somehow. I love how being raised here gave me all of the leadership opportunities I’ve had so far! I plan to come back and raise my family here.
My ideal first date would be…
going bowling or mini golfing, and then going to grab some pizza or a burger at a local restaurant.
My favorite late night study snack is definitely…
a Dr Pepper and wavy Lay’s chips.
If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…
spend it with those I love. Letting them all know what they mean to me and what they’ve done for me through out my life.

the hostile mindset everyone has. Spreading peace and understanding.
