ABOUT Jessica
University of Tennessee, Junior
I love my college because…
I couldn’t picture going anywhere else. Walking in the football stadium or down the street during football season makes it the absolute best. Not only students but Vol fans all support one another and it is truly an amazing feeling seeing all the love for the Vols.
I really hate when…
people are not being positive. I feel like there a lot of different things that happen through our lives that can either bring you down or build you up and it is all based on how you interpret it.
I major in…
Psychology. After undergrad, I would like to go to graduate school to obtain a PhD. My end goal is to work in clinical psychology with children.
My hometown is awesome because…
it is extremely small. Out of everything it has to offer, my favorite would have to be being able to know everyone in town and feel comfortable at anytime in my hometown.
My ideal first date would be…
something completely spontaneous that neither he or I have ever experienced before. We will get to see each other’s reaction to a new experience and will have fun doing it. It will be something new, it will be a new experience for both of us making us step outside of our comfort zone.
My favorite late night study snack is definitely…
a bag of popcorn or an apple and Nutella.
If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…
love to see my family and go to the beach and just relax with them.
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…
the fact that there is so much judgement. I am a very open minded person and try to treat everyone the way I want to be treated. So that would be what I would want everyone to try and do.
If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, I would say…
“Keep your head up, continue striving to be the best you can be, and surround yourself with people that radiate positivity while building you up.”
I want to be Miss COED 2017 because…
I think I would be a good role model and embody all the aspects that are required of Miss COED. I am very outgoing and open to all new experiences. It would be great for my university that I could share my love of the Vols with everyone.
