ABOUT Becca
Troy University, Freshman
I love my college because….
it was the one that made me feel more at home and safe. I think Troy has great opportunities for me and for where I plan on going in the future.
I really hate when…
people don’t show kindness. I understand that most people feel that respect is not just given, but kindness to strangers and friends should always be.
I major in…
Economics and possibly majoring in Criminal Justice as well, with a minor in Legal Studies. I want to attend Law School and work my way into becoming a lawyer.
My hometown is awesome because…
it’s secluded. I used to live in the big city of Los Angeles, and I loved the city too, but living out here where it’s just nice and quiet is so wonderful. The countryside has such a beautiful scenery too!
At school, you can find me…
Convocational Program. In this program, we talk to foreign exchange students and get them to speak the English language more just by having conversations. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
The coolest class I’ve taken so far is…
Marketing. I’m learning a lot of inside skills that will help me in the future.
My ideal first date would…
take place at an amusement park. I love roller coasters and it’s an exciting way to get to know someone.
My favorite late night study snack is…
Takis, they’re these chili chips that I just can’t get enough of.
If I had 24 hours left to live, I would…
spend them with my family and take a trip back to California and eat all the wonderful foods that California has to offer. My dad and I are big on burgers and Mexican food!
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be…
how there are people struggling to make a living for themselves and their families by providing aid, giving them the opportunity to find good jobs and good income. Our economy hasn’t been the greatest, but if I could help rebuild it, then you better believe that I would.
I’m going to be Miss COED 2017 because…
I think it’s an amazing opportunity to be a part of something! These things come and go, so to even be given the chance to run was a great offer I couldn’t pass up!
