Three-time Divas champion AJ Lee is leaving the WWE–which isn’t that big of a surprise, given how the punky little powerhouse has been publicly feuding (like, for real) with the WWE executives over the past few weeks. People kind of saw the end coming when AJ was passed up yet again for a turn on the Total Divas reality show, although the WWE is at least letting AJ go out with a bunch of championships. And, of course, a WWE champion leaving the fold is like a character getting killed off in comic books. There’s always a good chance that they’ll return. The WWE is sure implying that AJ will be making some appearances outside of the ring.
