The 2017 Big 12 Tournament will take place from Wednesday, March 8 through Saturday, March 11 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas is the favorite to cut down the nets, as they won their 13th straight Big 12 regular season title with a 16-2 record in conference play. The Jayhawks are currently ranked #1 in the country, and they will certainly be a popular pick to win it all in March Madness pools this year.
Kansas winning the Big 12 Tournament is not a given, though, as there are several dangerous squads in the 10-team field. #9 Baylor, #11 West Virginia, and #23 Iowa State all finished tied for second in the Big 12 with 12-6 records in conference play. All three of these teams are more than capable of going on a run and preventing the Jayhawks from winning back-to-back Big 12 Tournaments.
