The ACC Tournament is always one of the premier conference tournaments to watch, and this year is certainly no exception. Joe Lunardi currently has 10 ACC teams making it into the NCAA Tournament, which is easily the most of any conference. With six teams in the latest AP Top 25 poll, the ACC is absolutely stacked from top to bottom, making this a wide open tournament.
The 2017 ACC Tournament will be held from Tuesday, March 7 through Saturday, March 11 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. North Carolina will be the favorite out of the 15-team field, as they finished first in the regular season with a 14-4 record in conference play.
The Tar Heels also won the ACC Tournament last year, outlasting Virginia 61-57 in the championship game. But Duke still holds a razor-thin edge over North Carolina when it comes to all-time ACC Tournament titles, as the Blue Devils have won 19 championships and the Tar Heels have cut down the nets 18 times.
Now that the stage has been set, let’s breakdown the bracket and full schedule of the 2017 ACC Tournament.
