UPDATE (5:40 p.m. ET): XXXtentacion, officially named Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, has been confirmed dead, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Department. He was reportedly shot multiple times in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and a Louis Vuitton bag was taken. The suspect’s getaway vehicle has been described as a possible black Dodge Journey, Chevy Tahoe, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. TMZ reported the news.
XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was reportedly shot and killed on Monday, June 18, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was 20-years-old.
An eyewitness has told TMZ he was reportedly “lifeless” with “no pulse”. While nothing has been confirmed at this time, video from the scene appears to show him sitting lifelessly in the driver seat of a BMW.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene near Sample Road and North Dixie Highway, at around 4:20 p.m. EST.
Witnesses say that while XXXTentacion was leaving the motorcycle dealer, a gunman ran up to his vehicle and shot him. The suspected shooters reportedly fled in a black Dodge Journey.
Onfroy was rushed to a local hospital after the shooting.

The 20-year-old rapper was shopping for motorcycles in Miami and as he was leaving the motorcycle dealer a gunman ran up to his vehicle and shot him.
Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, born January 23, 1998, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, who was born and raised in Plantation, Florida.
XXXTentacion released his debut album, “17”, on August 25, 2017. His second album, “?”, was released on March 16, 2018, and debuted at #1. He was perhaps best known for his single “Look At Me”, which was released in 2017.
Onfroy was awaiting trial for domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend and faced more than a dozen felony charges.
