XXXTentacion — born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy on January 23, 1998 — was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was shot and killed in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on Monday, June 18.
Reports indicate that Onfroy was killed in a drive-by shooting. Video from the scene shows him sitting lifeless in the driver’s seat of a BMW.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene near Sample Road and North Dixie Highway at around 4:20 p.m. EST. The suspects reportedly fled in a black Dodge Journey.
Onfroy was rushed to a local hospital after the shooting where he was pronounced dead.
