MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…
CU Boulder has one of the highest ratios of sexy and smart students and is regarded as one of the wildest college towns in the United States. The girls here are flawless, the boys here are gorgeous, the bars are dark, and the weed is legal.
THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…
During sophomore year, I first made the hike up to Chautauqua National Park during the snow-covered winter to sit under the lights of a star-shaped design that is bright enough to see from across the city. I sat there with my best friends, and with a smile on my face, looked down at my town. I remember thinking ‘Boulder is where the happy people are.’
OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…
Even though I drink like a fish and smoke like a chimney, I still manage to balance 15+ credit hours, 40 hours at work, and a full Thursday-Saturday weekend meeting new friends, all while managing to make rent and the end of the month.
AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…
In the past five days, I’ve accumulated over 145 Tinder matches in town. If that’s not school spirit, then I don’t know what is.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
I want to travel Europe. I want to drink wine with Italian boys and dance on the streets of Amsterdam with beautiful girls, but I’ll always want to come home to Colorado and talk politics and love with strangers in the Flatirons mountain range.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?
I want to represent the student population that is tattooed and well-read. I want to show off the scenic mountains and the beautiful men and women of Boulder that can hold our alcohol and our 30 pound textbooks.
IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Don’t avoid relationships in college for fear of commitment- fall in love, fall hard, kiss hard, break hard, drink about it and start all over again. It’s all worth it, and you are resilient.
