MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…

I love my college because I am the 14th member of my family to be a Coug! I have grown up with such Cougar pride. I always have known this was where I was going to go to college and I am so happy I am here. The atmosphere on campus is like no other place. We are truly a family here at WSU.

I MAJOR IN…

My major is elementary education and I want to teach kindergarten once I’m done with school.

OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…

One thing you should know about me is that I grew up in Hawaii on a cattle ranch called Kahua Ranch. Kahua means ‘the beginning.’ I love being out on my horse or my 4-wheeler.

AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…

An organization that I am a part of is Pi Beta Phi. Our national philanthropy is Read- Lead- Achieve. We focus on literacy of youth.

IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would love to go to Greece. It seems so pretty and like there would be a lot to see. I also love Greek mythology, so I’d be interested in learning more!

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?

I would love to be Miss COED 2016 because I am very well rounded and feel that I can be a good mentor and role model for people. I also would love to help educate the world on Hawaii and break some of the stigmas that come with Hawaii.

IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

If I could give one piece of advice, it would definitely be a quote from Fernando Sabino that reads, “In the end, everything will be okay. If it is not okay, it is not the end.” This quote especially has really helped me through a lot of tough times this semester.
