MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…
I love everything about OSU! Oregon State is the epitome of what you would envision a college town to be. Monday through Friday, the campus is buzzing with students and activities. The people are all insanely friendly; you could just go and sit next to someone in the library and start a conversation. The weekends are insane. In Corvallis, there is always a party to attend or a themed function going on. If that’s not your thing, Corvallis has so much to offer. Whether it’s hiking Mary’s Peak or floating down the river, you will never be bored here!
THE COOLEST PLACE TO PARTY ON CAMPUS IS…
The fraternities on campus have the best parties. They usually have themed parties each week, which are super fun to go and get dressed up for!
THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…
One of the best memories I’ve had here is when B.o.B came to our DAMJAM (a concert put on by OSU each year). I got ready with a bunch of my friends, and we ended up squeezing our way to the front row and screaming our heads off for the remainder of the night!
I MAJOR IN…
I’m majoring in sociology with an option in law. Once I graduate I want to join the Peace Corps for two years and then go to law school.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
I really want to travel to Ireland one day. Not only is it insanely gorgeous, but I also would like to visit the places that my mom’s side of the family lived.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?
I think being Miss COED 2016 would give recognition to OSU that it greatly deserves. I wish everyone could get the college experience that my friends and I have here.
IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
My advice for anyone in college or going into college is to work hard and play hard. It sounds cliché, but it couldn’t be more true! You don’t want to party so much that your grades suffer, and you don’t want to study so much that you don’t have any fun. Finding the balance between the two is what makes these the “best years of our lives.”
