Cesar Sayoc, 56, has been identified as the registered Republican living in Florida who was arrested in connection to the suspected explosive devices that were mailed to prominent Democratic figures and institutions during the week of October 22.
Sayoc — who’s Twitter account is littered with right-wing conspiracy theories — mailed suspected explosive devices to various Democrats across the United States.

In total, 12 suspected explosive devices sent by Sayoc were recovered by authorities. He was arrested in Plantation, Florida, by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, October 26.
Cesar Sayoc Nationality: Native American or “Seminole”
In multiple tweets written by Sayoc, he identifies himself as part of the “Seminole Tribe”. Whether or not that is his legitimate nationality has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida reached out to COED saying that Sayoc “is not a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida” and released the following statement:

Cesar Sayoc, a 56-year-old former New Yorker living in Florida who registered to vote for the first time in 2016, attempted to assassinate various political figures and institutions by mailing them explosive devices.
Sayoc, who was previously arrested in 2002 for a bomb threat, was apprehended by Florida authorities on Friday, October 26, thanks in part to DNA evidence and cell phone records.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of Sayoc’s packages.

Sayoc was arrested by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office near an AutoZone in Plantation, Florida, on Friday, October 26.
On Twitter, he identifies himself as:
“Current Booking Agent/Sales/Marketing/Promotions/Project Mgr Live Events Seminole Hard Rock Live.Former Professional Soccer Player, Wrestler, Cage Fighter.”
Sayoc, who has two registered businesses in Florida, including Native American Catering and Vending and Ver Tech AG, was a former UNC Charlotte soccer player.
In addition to his right-wing conspiracy-theory laden Twitter account, Sayoc’s Facebook page includes many political memes, assorted selfies, and personal photos from what appears to be an October 2016 Donald Trump rally.
