UPDATE: Cesar Altieri Sayoc Jr., the alleged MAGA bomber who sent multiple explosive-laden packages to prominent Democrats and political figures across the nation, had self-proclaimed links to the Seminole tribe.
Sayoc also had a business named Native American Catering and a sticker on his van which read “Native Americans for Trump.”
However, the Native American Journalists Association passed along a statement from the Seminole Tribe of Florida which denied that he is not a citizen of their tribe.
“We can find no evidence that Cesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri Sayoc, Ceasar Altieri Randazzo (Facebook) or Julus Cesar Milan (Twitter) is or was a member or employee of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, or is or was an employee of Seminole Gaming or Hard Rock International,” Seminole Tribe of Florida spokesperson Gary Bitner said.
“At this time, we cannot verify if he is or was an employee of a vendor company.”
What has been confirmed is that Sayoc Jr. is the son of a Filipino immigrant, while his mother was born in Brooklyn with the maiden name Giardiello, a traditionally Italian name. His grandmother’s maiden name, Altieri, is also Italian.
Oringal Story: Cesar Altieri Sayoc Jr. has been arrested in connection to the series of explosive devices that were sent across the country to prominent Democrats and liberal news outlet CNN throughout the week of Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26 before he was finally arrested in Plantation, Florida.
After Sayoc was arrested, his van was taken by law enforcement officials and photos on the internet showed the van was covered in stickers and decals that included pro-Trump and right-wing propaganda, along with other hints into his personal life.

A cousin of Sayoc has said that his father was Filipino and his mother was Italian, but there were initial suggestions that he could be Native American. On the van that was obtained by authorities following his arrest, there was a large sticker which read “Native Americans for Trump.”

Sayoc was also a “Project Manager of Live Events at Seminole Hard Rock Live,” according to his Twitter account. His Twitter account also repeatedly uses the phrase “we the unconquered Seminole.” Sayoc has two registered businesses in Florida, including Native American Catering and Vending and Ver Tech AG.

Sayoc, 56, is the Florida man who has been arrested in connection to the suspicious explosive devices that were sent to Democrats across the United States. Sayoc was arrested by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Plantation, Florida, on Friday, October 26. Sayoc is reportedly a registered Republican. He is a catering and dry-cleaning business owner.
