Michelle Vo, 32, is yet another one of the 59 victims who was killed in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. She was a graduate from San Jose’s Independence High School and UC Davis. She reportedly was a big fan of golf the Golden State Warriors. She died on Sunday night in Las Vegas, as a gunman opened fire on concert goers at the Route 91 Festival Harvest.
The shooting occurred on Sunday at around 10 P.M. when suspected mass shooter 64-year-old Stephan Paddock opened fire from his room on the 32nd floor of a Mandalay Bay hotel, across the street from the concert. He fired down upon the crowd below, causing 59 deaths and 527 injuries. Authorities are still investigating the motive in the shooting, and they are still clueless as to why someone would commit such a horrific act.
Who was Michelle Vo?
Michelle Vo was a 32-year-old woman, who worked for the New York Life Insurance Company in Pasadena, California.
Vo was living in Los Angeles, and traveled out to Las Vegas to attend the now infamous Route 91 Harvest Festival country music concert.
A banker named Casey Lubin, 32, told Buzzfeed that she’s Michelle Vo’s best friend. Lubin said that,”that “all of the love and effort she (V0) gave to others in her life would come back.”
Lubin also called her friend, “the most vibrant, passionate, brave and kind person I have ever met.”
Michelle had recently ended a relationship and moved into her own apartment, according to a friend.
“She was just starting her life,” said Lubin. “That’s why I don’t understand how this could happen.”
