Melissa Ramirez, 28, is just one of 60 victims to be shot down at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. A GoFundMe page has been set up in her honor, with the donations going to the family of the deceased.

The shooting occurred on Sunday at around 10 P.M. when suspected mass shooter 64-year-old Stephan Paddock opened fire from his room on the 32nd floor of a Mandalay Bay hotel, across the street from the concert. He fired down upon the crowd below, causing 60 deaths and 526 injuries. Authorities are still investigating the motive in the shooting, and are still clueless as to why someone who commit such a murderous act.

Melissa Ramirez is yet another victim of Sunday night’s massacre in Las Vegas. Family members traveled out to Las Vegas in an attempt to find the missing Melissa.
“Family members of 28-year-old Melissa Ramirez started driving from California to Nevada early Monday morning when they heard about the Las Vegas shooting and could not reach her. Shortly after, they received a call from a friend who was also at the concert informing them that Ramirez had died,” according to Buzzfeed.
A cousin told Buzzfeed that Ramirez was “the person in the family who everyone looked forward to seeing.”

Her life was cut short due to injuries sustained in the Las Vegas Route 91 shooting. This act of violence has affected our family.
