Tensions between the governments of the United States and North Korea have been steadily rising. Recently, the military of Kim Jong Un fired a missile over the island of Japan, and President Donald Trump responded by labeling the DPRK’s supreme leader as “Rocket Man,” or “little rocket man.”
Trump says he’ll “handle little rocket man,” referring to Kim Jong Un. Trump says that Un is on “a suicide mission.”
However, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho claims that Trump is the one on a suicide mission. He also called Trump, a “mentally deranged person full of megalomania.” It kinda sounds like Ri Young Ho is a Democrat candidate hopeful or a writer over at CNN. I guess Un wasn’t paying the bills…
“Due to his lacking of basic common knowledge and proper sentiment, he tried to insult the supreme dignity of my country by referring it to a rocket,” Ri said. “By doing so however, he committed an irreversible mistake of making our rocket’s visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable all the more.”
Lil’ Kim, I mean Kim Jong Un has conducted more than double the amount of missile tests than his father, former dictator Kim Jong Il. So, yeah, this guy Un has a thing for testing out his nation’s weaponry.
Both Japan and North Korea really had a close call on Thursday, September 14, when Un’s missile flew over the island nation, ultimately sinking into the East Sea. If that missile had made direct contact with Japan, who knows what could have happened…

Kim’s new nickname is an obvious reference to Elton John’s 1972 hit song “Rocket Man.”
