THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…
Freshman year, I remembered when I took a picture on top of a statued lion at my school. It’s tradition that one does it least once when they get on campus! The journey to get on top of the lion was probably the most memorable part of it all, because I had to go through water and then climb on top of a platform with a lot of help, and then try to climb on top of a lion with drenched clothes! All in all, it was well worth the trip without getting caught.
I MAJOR IN…
I’m a dance major with a concentration in theatre/dance. I want to move out to California, build and own a dance company, and travel with my wonderful dancers around the world showing off their talents.
OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…
I like to collect the fortunes in fortune cookies! I usually put them in a box, and on a bad day, I would pick one out randomly in order to keep me motivated to finish the day strong with a little wisdom.
AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…
I’m an active member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a member of the Black Student Alliance, and a new member of the NAACP and the Dance Association at my school.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
I would travel to France and Italy! France is where I plan to move to for a couple years after college. I’m obsessed with a French language and all of the beautiful people they have there! I would go to Italy, because all I eat is Italian food. It would be a dream of mine to actual eat a real Italian pizza while in Italy.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?
I would like to be Miss COED 2016 because I believe it would be a learning experience for me. I have never done something like this before, and I took a leap of faith. I also think I can be a wonderful representative for my school, and to get the word out there about how well ODU is prospering each and every day.
IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Never give up on your dream. No matter how hard someone may convince you to do so, never give up on something you love the most. Fight for what you love.
