MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…
I love my college because it truly is my home away from home. I decided to go to school far away, which was really hard to me at first because I was so home-sick. My college is not only diverse, but it has an atmosphere that makes me feel safe and secure like back home. Our community isn’t too big, which makes our campus a perfect little community. Our campus is growing each day, which makes going to school in the QC the best place to be!
THE COOLEST PLACE TO PARTY ON CAMPUS IS…
Best place to party on campus is the football tailgate lot. Rain or shine, we #keeppounding.
THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…
Most memorable thing I have done since freshman year was grant 6 wishes with the organization Make-A-Wish. By far the best experience ever!
I MAJOR IN…
My major at UNCC is communication studies. I have a minor in film studies as well as dance education. With my major and minors, I aim to use my creativity within the media industry. My ultimate goal would to be in California working in the media industry in LA.
OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…
One thing about me is I am a super neat freak! I have some serious OCD when it comes to everything being clean and tidy in my room and apartment. Last week I wouldn’t go out until all the beer bottles were in the trash…it’s that bad.
AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…
At school I am an active member of Greek Life. I have been on my sororities executive board, a member for four years and in honor fraternities on campus as well. I am also active as a member of the dance community and media department at UNCC!
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?
I want to use my title as Miss COED 2016 as a platform to not only get my school’s name out there, but to also inspire other women that they can achieve anything they set their mind to! I am a big advocate on embracing who you are and going after your dreams, so winning this title I would be able to show all girls and women out there if we set our mind to it, we can accomplish anything!
IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
If I could give readers one piece of advice it would be simply this: DON’T DREAM IT BE IT. You can be anything you want to be if you put your mind to it.
