Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
The University of New Mexico is really so amazing because of the beautiful scenery we have! In New Mexico, there really isn’t much green around, but as soon as you step onto campus and see the big duck pond with trees surrounding, it’s like you’ve entered a completely different time zone. UNM has so much to offer, from improving facilities and the area each year, to the wide variety of arts, as well as the opportunity for medical school. Not only is the campus beautiful, but the people that I go to school with are so diverse! A diverse crowd is important, because the more people that you meet, the more opportunities that you have which allow you to experience something different that you may never would have experienced. I chose my school, because it is where I felt comfortable, but there was still enough area for me to grow as a person. I truly believe that most everyone on campus is so nice to each other.. us lobos can be friends with anybody! #GoLobos!
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
SpeakLove foundation (an uprising organization where we speak to younger kids about the importance of being kind and diminish bullying), The Girls Academy, and lastly, I amma Kappa Kappa Gamma!
If you had to choose one social media to use for the year, what would it be and why?
Twitter! Twitter is the one platform where all of the social media sites can emerge.. you can post snaps, pictures and tweets!
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
I am currently a Pre-Pharmacy major, but I am working on switching over to business to be more math-based! (It’s my favorite subject)
Who’s the most famous graduate from your school?
One famous graduate I know of is Brian Urlacher! He played football at UNM, and then went on to play for the Chicago Bears for another 13 years!
Do you have a favorite sports team?
My favorite sports team is……… THE LOBOS! #woof
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
Jilly Anais! She’s my FAVORITE model!
What is your go to pre-game song?
…depends on the pregame situation, you really have to cater to the crowd haha
