Why did you choose your school and what makes it better than the rest?
There was absolutely no question when choosing my school. Being from Indiana everyone asks me “why didn’t you go to IU?” I laugh at that question every time because there was no other option for me. What makes UofL better than the rest? Well the list could go on and on. The university is encompassed by compassionate, aspiring individuals that work on a diverse level to create a wonderful campus. The city that surrounds the university provides endless opportunities for students both during school and after. From sporting events, to Greek life, to campus events UofL is better than any other.
What kind of activities are you involved in? (sorority, theatre, clubs, etc)
I was a part of Delta Zeta sorority for three years serving various positions. Unfortunately, due to finances I had to sever my membership but am ever greatful for the friendships made and time spent in the organization. I have been apart of various clubs such as cardinal club, SOAR,
If you had to choose one social media to use for the year, what would it be and why?
If I had to choose one social media for a year it would be Facebook. I would choose Facebook because I am able to connect with a lot of family members that rely on Facebook as their only source of social media, even my grandma.
What’s your major/what are you thinking of majoring in?
I am currently a nursing major and have one year left. I plan on getting my masters after that!
Who’s the most famous graduate from your school?
Diane sawyer is probably the most famous from my standpoint. I know various athletes have graduated from here but none super recently.
What do you know now that you wish you knew as a freshman?
C’s get degrees! I’m totally kidding haha I have not gotten a single C in my college career. But that is because I put an extreme amount of pressure on myself and almost kill myself slaving away studying at times. I have missed out on fun things because I felt I needed to study more. I wish I would’ve known that it’s ok not to make perfect grades, it’s ok to have fun, that is what college is for.
Do you have a favorite sports team?
My favorite professional sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have family that lives there and I was raised to eat, breathe, sleep the Steelers. We have season tickets to the games, and I have seriously never met a bigger fan than my father… it gets kind of annoying haha.
What is a nickname that your friends call you?
Pappy, abby pap, anything that involves my last name
Which celebrity would you invite to a dinner party at your house?
That is easy- taylor swift. She has been my idol for as long as I can remember. Her music has helped me through breakups, family problems, friend issues, and more. I admire her humbleness and humility and would love to just have a conversation with her
What is your go to pre-game song?
T-pain Dan Bilzerian. I have a weird love for Tpain and that song always gets me pumped up
