UFC 238 Medical Suspensions: Donald Cerrone Out Indefinitely

UFC 238 took place June 8 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. While it has been ten days since the event, MMAjunkie.com was able to finally obtain the medical suspensions from the pay-per-view. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Boxing division typically does not release the suspensions to the public but they were accessed by someone who was able to see the ABC database.
The longest suspension from the event goes to Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, who is suspended indefinitely until he receives a physician’s clearance following a CT scan of his facial bones and MRI of his head. Jessica Eye, who was brutally knocked out in the co-main event, is suspended for 120 days and will also need a CT scan.
Flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo received a minor 60 day layoff following his win over Marlon Moraes, who received a 90-day suspension.
