The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view on Saturday, Oct. 6 with UFC 229 featuring the highly-anticipated return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor. McGregor takes on current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event as he attempts to reclaim UFC gold.
The event takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
In anticipation of the big event, the UFC is ramping up its promotion with a pre-fight press conference featuring the headlines in New York City on Thursday, Sept. 20. While the event is closed to the public, fans can tune in to the festivities online.
If the past is any indication, we can expect plenty of fireworks when the brash Irishman takes the stage against the undefeated Russian.
