WATCH: Ronda Rousey Makes In-Ring WWE Raw Debut

Ronda Rousey has been thrown right into some marquee moments since signing with the WWE, but on Monday, Aug. 6 she did something for the first time in her professional career. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion returned to television this week and competed in her first official WWE Monday Night Raw match.
Rousey was returning from a “monthlong suspension” for beating up Raw general manager Kurt Angle. She entered the ring against Alicia Fox, who had ringside support from WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alex Bliss, for her match.
Rousey was easily handling Fox in the ring, despite some attempts to interfere from Bliss, before locking in her signature armbar and finishing the fight.
You can watch the defining moments from the match below.

Rousey is set to return to the ring on Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York where she will face off against Alexa Bliss for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. It will be Rousey’s second chance at winning the belt.
Other matches at Summerslam 2018 include Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship, AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship, Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE United States Championship, Carmella vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, and Cedric Alexander vs. Drew Gulak for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The Bludgeon Brothers, Harper and Rowan, will also defend their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against the winner of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament finals between The New Day and Cesaro and Sheamus.
