Conor McGregor has been absent from the UFC since November 2016. “The Notorious” has been stripped of his featherweight and lightweight titles due to inactivity, and there is no indication on when he will be returning to the cage. But McGregor has still been able to keep his name in the headlines, even if it is for all of the wrong reasons. Now, he is back in the headlines because of what he is doing in mixed martial arts even if it isn’t an actual fight.
This week, McGregor took to social media to show off a video of what is his first publicly seen sparring session since the Floyd Mayweather fight.
McGregor was sparring at SBG Ireland in Dublin.
The caption read, “McGregor Sports and Entertainment.”

Does this mean McGregor is set to return to action sooner rather than later? We will have to stay tuned. If he does, it will be interesting to see whether he fights Nate Diaz, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tyron Woodley, Georges St-Pierre, Max Holloway or Floyd Mayweather.
