Klay Thompson seems to be doing SWELL. I mean, why wouldn’t he be? The Golden State Warriors are 9-2 and look like they’re en route to an NBA Finals appearance while smashing all sorts of records along the way. EXCEPT … rumors are beginning to swirl that Klay Thompson may be involved in a trade, which I can definitely see as being a bummer. Being the odd man out is never a good feeling.

Brian Scalabrine was on XM Radio, and said he had “heard this weekend” that Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson might be available in trade, and that the Celtics were involved in talks. Scalabrine is a former NBA player, and a current analyst for both CSN New England and Yahoo Sports.
It’s since come out that the rumors are false, but either way, our boy Klay looks a little shook. Nothing wrong with him having a beer, but you have to wonder how the NBA feels about the whole thing, considering they’re partners with Anheuser-Busch. If this was the NFL, you KNOW Roger Goodell would be taxing that ass.
