UFC Fight Night 85: Neil Magny Vs. Hector Lombard Got Weird… [VIDEO]

Neil Magny took on Hector Lombard at UFC Fight Night 85, and it was a really bizarre match. Partly because it suddenly ended as one of the most one-sided matches in the history of UFC, but also because it looked like nobody cared if Lombard got killed.
We know the UFC doesn’t mind making money off quick matches. Just check out Ronda Rousey either winning or losing. And we’ll admit that Hector started off stronger than you might expect. But the second round had Lombard in bad shape. He had one clear shot at taking Magny out after a really good shot, but followed up with a big nothing of an ankle lock.
Magny took great offense at that and went on to brutally beat Lombard through the end of the second round. Meanwhile, referee Steve Perceval was seemingly auditioning for the WWE by doing his best to ignore what was happening in the ring.
No surprises in the third round with a win for Magny, of course. Check it out for yourself (not that we know anything about the origin of the video below) and marvel at the madness that is the UFC…
