Woah. Talk about sh*t getting real.
During the dusk of January 13, only hour’s before Obama’s final State Of The Union, news broke that Iran had detained 10 American soldiers for crossing into Iranian waters. However, by the time Obama’s address was over, it was announced that the soldiers would be released by morning. This news was made official by Secretary of State John Kerry, who held a press conference to state that our Naval soldiers have been returned safely to their ships.
After holding them captive, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has released the ten American sailors, apprehended after entering the Iranian territorial waters on two combat vessels. Apparently, the video was shot by Iranians, and MSNBC claims that Iran taking video of these “prisoners” is in violation of the Geneva Convention.
