Along with the rest of the free world, I love this story of Ronda Rousey accepting Jarrod Haschert’s invitation to the Marine Corps Ball.
The most recent update is that Jarrod accepted her acceptance (?) That’s a no brainer but you can watch his reaction on TMZ here.
When Haschert uploaded his invitation, he knew it was a shot in the dark. And even if he did get a response, I doubt he thought it would turn out to be such a resounding “Yes,” let alone scoring dates for three of his boys.
We’ve seen celebrities get asked out before, however most times it’s to a prom. Remember that high school bro who asked Kate Upton to prom, but had to “settle” for Nina Agdal back in 2013? That was cool and all, don’t get me wrong, but Rousey accepting an invitation to the Marine Corps Ball blows it out of the water. Why? Because while the whole “celebrity going to prom” thing is considered more of an “AW OMG S’CUTE” moment, Haschert might actually have a chance to get lucky. Who knows. Ronda is Ronda, Haschert is a marine, and America is America, so anything is possible at this point.
Damn is she fine. I’m pulling for you Haschert. Actually, America is pulling for you.
