What was a wild Halloween fraternity party like way back in 1992? We can all learn though an important historical document called Fraternity Demon, where we learn that fraternity brothers used to look like 35-year-old accountants, and they liked to have live bands that looked straight out of the 1980s. Actually, Fraternity Demon might really be straight from the 1980s. This low-budget wonder was either filmed in two days or shot over several years. That would explain the aging fraternity guys.
But the most amazing thing about Fraternity Demon is that there was a time when a sex-crazed beauty could go to college to find a lover for all eternity, and not be surrounded by frat guys clamoring for the chance. We know that Fraternity Demon is really a comedy, but that’s still awfully scary to us. Especially since the titular demon is played by Trixxie Bowie. She’s gorgeous, and it’s hard for us to believe that Trixxie never made another movie.
Actually, it’s possible that Trixxie is still out there, and decided to change her birth name to something sexier. That happens in Hollywood. We know that Trixxie still has a real fan base out there. A few fraternities have pulled out Fraternity Demon for late-night party viewing. We highly recommend it for your own Halloween party. You can keep the sound down during the sorority sleepover scenes, but crank it up to hear the heavy metal of Shock-Ra rocking the frat house.
Even better, you can preview all of Fraternity Demon right here. The fine folks at Troma Studios have the entire movie up for free viewing. Take a look, but get ready for some NSFW moments. Also, if you’re Trixxie Bowie and you’ve found this article by Googling yourself–well, give us a call sometime….
