Georgia Southern University, Senior; Miss COED 2016 Finalist 🏆

MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…

For being in such a small town, there is always something to do. If I’m not in class, I’m either meeting new people at the pool or going to different events at our bars. Georgia Southern has been known to be a party school, and that it is. There is always a party, but that means that I can focus on my school work any time because there will always be another party soon after.

THE COOLEST PLACE TO PARTY ON CAMPUS IS…

The Plaza is the most popular. It has the most bars in one area, and it’s definitely the most wild spot. If you’re looking for a more chill bar, I personally prefer South City. There is always live music and great people.

THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…

The paint party The Plaza had in 2014. It was like our very own EDM festival in the middle of campus. It will be a night I will never forget.

I MAJOR IN…

I’m a marketing and logistics major. I don’t have any definite plan yet on what to do with my major. I first plan to get my real estate license right out of college and then apply to jobs outside of the country.

OH YEAH, AND YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW THAT…

I am extremely kindhearted. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. If someone is nice to me, I will be nice back to them times 10. I love to make friends and meet new people, so I am accepting of every type of person.

AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…

I am a ZTA alumni. I was also part of the Finance Association before I changed my major, and I am a member of the Eagle Executive Society.

IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

England. I have been teaching myself French all summer and I would love to go shopping in Paris and tour London. I would love nothing more than to be able to put my French to good use.

DESCRIBE YOUR LAST FRIDAY NIGHT.

My last Friday night, I was celebrating my 21st birthday. Started off with live music and drinks at Millhouse and then was moved to the Tavern with endless dancing, and finally ended in my apartment pool swimming and partying with half the bar until 5am in the morning.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?

I believe I would be a good fit considering you have such a wide variety of people in your audience, and I am very accepting of everyone. I see this as a great opportunity to meet more people and make more friends, which is my favorite thing in the world to do.

IF YOU COULD GIVE OUR READERS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Stay single as long as you can. Especially in college. Have as much fun as you can until you graduate and then go to some place completely new, settle into a career and then start dating. You have the rest of your life to be with someone. Enjoy your alone time as long as possible.
