MY COLLEGE KICKS ASS BECAUSE…
I love Pittsburg State University because this campus makes me feel as though it’s my second home. With the small class sizes, you are able to get to know your professors and the other students in the class. The campus activities’ board is really good about giving us options for something to do.
THE MOST MEMORABLE THING I’VE DONE SINCE FRESHMAN YEAR IS…
Well since I am only a freshman in my first semester, I would have to say the most memorable thing that I have done yet was going through sorority recruitment and meeting a ton of new people.
I MAJOR IN…
I am majoring in biology with an emphasis in pre-medicine. I would like to become a pediatrician because I have a love for children and medicine. I would also like be a part of Doctors Without Borders and travel to other counties that are in need of medical care.
AT SCHOOL, I’M INVOLVED IN…
I am currently involved in the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority-Eta Eta chapter. I would also like to be a part of the biology club and pre-medicine club.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
I would love to travel to more parts of Scotland. I traveled to England, Ireland, and Scotland this summer for two weeks with my grandmothers, and I absolutely fell in love with the country and would love to go back.
DESCRIBE YOUR LAST FRIDAY NIGHT.
Last Friday I was traveling home from seeing my boyfriend graduate from basic training for the army. It was an amazing experience to see him achieve such a huge goal.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE MISS COED 2016?
I would love to be Miss COED 2016 because I would like to advocate for anyone coming into or already attending a college or university. I believe that college is not what it is like in the movies. Some things are true, but college is not all about the partying and getting drunk every weekend; school is also a priority and it is not cheap.
