Jayden Jawan Choate, only four years old, died from gunshot wound to the head.  Jayden was alone inside trailer home in Elgin, Iowa with two younger siblings. Jayden was pronounced dead at Palmer Lutheran Health Center. Fayette County Sheriff believes the boy accidentally shot himself, but investigation is still ongoing. The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy of Jayden Choate, and results confirm the boy died from a gunshot wound to his head.While the investigation is still ongoing, police believe it was merely an accident. Residents held a candlelight vigil at a community park in his memory Sunday. Volunteers set up luminaries in white bags with phrases such as “Mommy’s Angel,” ”Little Man,” ”Big Brother,” and “Until we meet again.”
