Guy Gets Engaged, God Tries To Crash Hot Air Balloon Into Ocean [VIDEO]

We have to sort through all kinds of fake failed-engagement videos every day–but this one sure looks real. Either that, or someone sure went through a lot of trouble to rent a hot-air balloon and almost crash it into the ocean. Anyway, what’s happening here is that some guy at Cardiff By The Sea (that’s by the sea in the UK) is about to make the rookie mistake of proposing marriage to his girlfriend. He decides to make it a big spectacle by taking her for a ride on a hot-air balloon and going over the ocean.
Well, it seems God decided to do this poor sap a favor with some divine intervention, and did His best to send the balloon crashing into the waves. Then some busybodies on the shore went and helped save the future unhappy couple by running around and towing the balloon to shore. And then God said, “I’m going to send the next idiot who tries that stunt spiraling into space, and we’ll see if those humans can tow a balloon in from Jupiter’s gravity.”
Meanwhile, we fully expect that this guy is still engaged to get married, because anyone who has to make a big deal out of asking a woman to marry him doesn’t have much sense…
