We know that the people of England take rugby really seriously, and that rugby players are a real tough lot, but we’re not going blame the sport for what happens after this streaker runs onto the field during a university rugby match between Newcastle and Northumbria. We’re pretty sure than any American teams would freak out if a streaker actually decided to go beyond being naked and actually tackle another player.
That’s not right. Check out this television footage (the English get their rugby matches televised) and enjoy the fun. Well, you won’t think it’s so fun if you’re a rugby player who’s never wanted any distractions during a match. But we’re still very impressed by this streaker who somehow manages to screw up a game (maybe while smoking a pipe) before running off without any repercussions–as the order of rugby society collapses all around him…
