Cris Cyborg is one of the most feared women in mixed martial arts history. The 34-year-old Brazilian has fought for all of the top promotions after rising to the scene under the Strikeforce banner. After making her long-awaited debut in the UFC, Cyborg eventually claimed the promotion’s 145-pound championship.
Seemingly unbeatable, Cyborg suffered a stunning knockout loss to current two-division UFC champion Amanda Nunes.
Throughout her UFC career, Cyborg has scored TKO victories over Leslie Smith, Lina Lansberg, Tonya Evinger, and Yana Kunitskaya. She also has a decision victory over former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm on her resume.
Prior to her time in the UFC, Cyborg had dominant runs in Strikeforce and Invicta FC where she compiled a record of 9-0 with 1 no contest. Cyborg won the inaugural Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight Championship with a win over Gina Carano. In her second Invicta FC bout, Cyborg claimed the promotion’s inaugural featherweight title by TKOing Marloes Coenen.
