The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Sacramento, California on Saturday, July 13 for UFC on ESPN+ 13 at the Golden1 Center. The event features a women’s bantamweight championship at the top of the card, while a legend returns from action to enter the Octagon in his hometown.
In the main event, former women’s featherweight titleholder Germaine de Randamie takes on undefeated top contender Aspen Ladd.
In the co-main event, Team Alpha Male leader Urijah Faber comes out of his retirement to take on one of the most exciting young fighters in the UFC, Ricky Simon.
Also on the main card is Mirsad Bektic vs. another Team Alpha Male product Josh Emmett, Karl Roberson vs. Wellington Turman, and Cezar Ferreira vs. Marvin Vettori. Former TUF champion Julianna also returns to action after a two-year layoff to take on former women’s flyweight champion Nicco Montano.
Before the fights could become official, all of the participants from the ESPN+ show had to step onto the scale for the official fighter weigh-ins at the host hotel. Luckily for those planning to attend, de Randamie and Ladd were able to hit their contracted weights.
