Milo Ventimiglia was born on July 8, 1977, in Anaheim, California. He was an old child who first discovered his passion for acting when he was a teenager. One he started college he majored in theater at the University of California.
Some of Ventimiglia’s first television appearances were in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law and Order: Special Victims Unity, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. These smaller roles allowed him to prepare for his first main roles. Some of which were Chris Pierce on NBC’s American Dreams, Peter Petrelli on NBC’S Heroes, Richard Thorne lll on The CW’s Bedford Diaries, Ned Stax on TNT’s Mob City and Sean Bennigan on ABC’s The Whispers.
These roles prepared Milo for his most iconic role yet! Playing the part of Jess Mariano, the bad boy nephew of Luke on Gilmore Girls. Ventimiglia joined the show during its second season in October 2001. Milo played the role of Jess for a total of seven years, leaving the show in April 2006.

Following the end of Milo’s role on Gilmore Girls, he hit the big screen to star with Sylvester Stallone in the final installment of the Rocky Balboa series. He played Rocky’s son. After going back to the small screen for a little while, Milo finally found a show that stuck and a character he connected with on a much deeper level.
In 2016 Ventimiglia landed the role of Jack Pearson the kind, caring, fun loving father from the hit NBC drama This Is Us. Milo starred alongside Mandy Moore played his wife and Sterling K. Brown who played his son. This show quickly became a phenomenon with audiences from across the globe tuning in every week, making sure they didn’t miss a minute of the episode. Even after the episode of Jack’s death in the house fire aired, he assured fans this wasn’t the last they would see of Jack! It was just the beginning.
