Potheads are getting younger and younger these days.
A 12-year-old-boy from Edison Middle School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (yes, that’s the same town as some of those Fargo stories) has been arrested on drug charges after police say he tried to sell marijuana to his classmates. Kid’s street cred is sky high but his future is definitely in doubt if he’s already moving dime bags in middle school.
According to Public Information Officer Sam Clemens, the student in question asked several classmates if they wanted to buy marijuana Monday morning around 10:00 A.M. Clearly, this kid has never heard Biggie’s “10 Crack Commandments.”
The classmates refused and alerted staff members about the offer. Clemens said school staff then searched the boy’s locker and found 3.7 grams of marijuana.
The student was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute in a drug-free zone. Hopefully, he learns there’s a time and place for everything and it’s called college.
