Let’s make one thing clear: I do not think Joe Rogan is being racist whatsoever. If you know anything about Joe Rogan, you know he is one of the most open-minded dudes around. The guy f*cks with isolation tanks (Google it), so you know he stays woke (and when it comes to isolation tanks, quite literally woke).
That’s what makes this video gold: It’s just Joe bein’ Joe. Probably a little baked, fresh off some meditation, loving life as a UFC announcer, he saw a chance to both simplify the situation and make a little joke, so he pounced. I’m all in on this one, and if you think this is racist, and you’re one of those ‘I don’t see color people,’ lighten up. Sometimes you gotta highlight the obvious and call a spade a spade. It’s called comedy and it’s one of Rogan’s many successful professions.
Hopefully, the UFC keeps him around for a long, long time, because he just makes the whole experience that much more alive.
