- Find work to do using social media and alternative platforms like LinkedIn. The money you make at this stage should be your secondary concern: what you’re trying to do is get the feedback you can use when you switch to a major platform.
- For example, a small business in your area may have posted on its LinkedIn account that they want to have a new website design done. If you take this job and share your customer’s feedback on your own social media account, you will create a reference for your future customers to choose you.
Build Your Profile Correctly and Don’t Settle for Just One Platform
Upwork, Fiverr or anything else: whichever platform you choose, you have to be very careful while preparing the page on which you introduce yourself, that is when creating your profile.
