Survivor 40: Winners at War returned on Wednesday, February 12 with a two-hour premiere as we got our first taste of what to expect from the all-winners season of the long-running CBS reality series.
On the premiere episode, we saw the first two boots, the return of Edge of Extinction, and a new aspect of the game that will come into play during season 40 called “Fire Tokens.”
This week, the show returns for Episode 2 of the season.
The series was filmed between May 22 and June 29, 2019, in Mamanuca Islands, Fiji. It is the eighth consecutive season to be filmed in Fiji and will premiere on February 12, 2020.
