Logan Paul Plans to Call Out Dana White, Ask for UFC Opportunity

Logan Paul is set to take on fellow YouTuber Olajide William Olatunji, who is popularly known as KSI, in a Matchroom Boxing event on Saturday, November 9 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Following the main event — which is set to air on DAZN — Paul has some ideas about his future that he’s ready to speak into existence.

During an interview with Cageside Press, Paul revealed that he plans on calling out Dana White after the fight with the hopes of securing an opportunity in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Paul has long said he could fight in the UFC, but now he’s ready to call for a shot.

“One-hundred percent the first name that’s coming out of my mouth is Dana White,” Paul said. “I want to fight in the UFC. I think Dana White can make that happen. I love MMA. I grew up wrestling. I was one of the best wrestlers in Ohio. No disrespect, but what the (expletive) am I doing? I’m using half of the skills I was training my whole life to do.”

Paul previously faced off against KSI in an amateur bout back in August 2018. That fight came to an anticlimactic ending with the judges announcing a majority draw.

If Paul, who brings a dedicated fan base and millions of eyeballs to anything he does, is able to come away with an impressive performance, it will be interesting to see whether Dana White gives any honest consideration to allowing Paul to fight in the UFC. Who knows, maybe Paul could at least earn a shot on the Contender Series.
