The Ultimate Fighting Championship invaded New York City’s Madison Square Garden for UFC 244 on Saturday, November 2. In the main event, fan favorites Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz battled it out for the highly-anticipated Baddest Motherf*cker (BMF) title.
Unfortunately, there was an anticlimactic end to the night when the cageside physician stepped in to call an end to the bout due to some serious cuts around the right eye of Diaz which gave Masvidal the win via doctor’s stoppage.
In wasn’t the end fans were hoping for, but the three rounds of action prior to the stoppage delivered the street fight that we were all expecting.
In the co-main event, Darren Till got back into the win column with a dominant win over Kelvin Gastelum.
