The Nationals and Dodgers take center stage in the second game of an NLDS doubleheader on Thursday, October 3. Washington and Los Angeles will square off in primetime live from Dodgers Stadium on TBS as they look to get the early advantage in the series.
The Nationals have some momentum after a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Wild Card game, but they will still be underdogs when they take the field in Los Angeles.
Washington will be relying on left-hander Patrick Corbin, while the Dodgers will be rolling with righty Walker Buehler.
“They’re obviously a good team, great starting pitching, good lineup and deep,” Nationals shortstop Trea Turner said, via ESPN.com. “So it’s going to be tough. But I think if there’s a team that’s ever been ready to face some adversity, it’s this one right here.”
