UFC 243: Whittaker vs Adesanya – Video Preview & Breakdown

Excitement for the Ultimate Fighting Championship‘s return to Australia continues with UFC 243 at Marvel Arena in Melbourne just days away. The pay-per-view event takes place on Saturday, October 5, with the biggest mixed martial arts bout in Oceania history headlining the thrilling night of fights.

In the main event, Australia’s own Robert Whittaker puts his middleweight championship on the line against Nigerian-born Israel Adesanya, who fights out of New Zealand and is the proud owner of the 185-pound interim title fight. The winner will walk away with the unified title and crown of undisputed champion.

In the co-main event of the night, lightweights Al Iaquinta and Dan Hooker go toe-to-toe.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated pay-per-view event, UFC commentators John Gooden and Dan Hardy took the time to provide a tactical analysis of the contest with the tale of the tape and by taking an in-depth look at the highlights and careers of both fighters.
