UFC 241 Fighter Salaries: Stipe Miocic Tops $3.3M Payroll

UFC 241 took place on Saturday, August 17 with the heavyweight championship changing hands. Stipe Miocic reclaimed the title by avenging his loss to former two-division champion Daniel Cormier.

In the co-main event, Nate Diaz was able to outpoint Anthony Pettis.

Following the event, the California State Athletic Commission announced the fighter payouts from the event with a total payroll of more than $3.3 million.

Stipe Miocic led the way with a $750,000 pay day, while Cormier earned $500,000. Diaz made $250,000 in his return from a three-year layoff with no win bonus, while Pettis made $155,000 in the loss.

The figures released do not include any money from outside sponsors. UFC 241 purses also exclude any locker room bonuses and required Reebok outfitting pay, but do figure in the $50,000 for Fight of the Night and Performance of the night bonuses.
