Mike Perry Broken Nose: Injury Update & Timeline for Return

UFC welterweight Mike Perry suffered a brutal injury during his co-main event bout against Vicente Luque at UFC on ESPN+ 14 in Uruguay on Saturday, August 11. Perry was outpointed by Luque in a split-decision loss, but the real story following the bout was his badly broken nose.

It was clear from the final bell that Perry’s nose was shattered, and the cageside staff immediately responded.

Following the bout, Perry was taken directly from the cage to the hospital where he underwent surgery. According to MMAjunkie, the surgery on Perry’s nose lasted approximately one hour. After his surgery, Perry took to social media to share a photo from his hospital bed.
