The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Sin City on Saturday, July 6 for UFC 239 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for a championship doubleheader on pay-per-view. The light heavyweight and women’s bantamweight championships will be on the line when the pay-per-view takes place.
In the main event, Jon Jones puts his 205-pound title on the line against heavy-handed contender Thiago “Marreta” Santos.
The co-main event features a women’s bantamweight title fight between current two-division champion Amanda Nunes and former 135-pound champion Holly Holm.
Ahead of the pay-per-view, the Nevada State Athletic Commission announced the official referee assignments for the night of fights and none other than Herb Dean drew the assignment to be the third man in the cage for the main event, according to MMAjunkie.com. For his efforts, Dean will earn $1,900 to referee the bout.

For the co-main event, Marc Goddard will be the referee with Dave Hagen, Sal D’Amato and Chris Lee serving as the judges. Those officials will earn the same salaries as those selected for the main event.
